Thales Alenia Space
Julien Lhortolary has over 16 years of experience in the aerospace and semiconductor industries, currently serving as a Calibration System Architect and APS at Thales Alenia Space since January 2011. In this role, Lhortolary is involved in the design and development of end-to-end calibration and antenna pointing systems for the SDS satellite within the Product Line team. Previous positions at Thales Alenia Space include Payload Design Authority and various architect roles focused on power amplifiers and calibration tools. Prior to Thales, Lhortolary worked as an MMIC Design Engineer at United Monolithic Semiconductors SAS, specializing in high power amplifiers. Lhortolary holds a PhD in Microwave Electronic, Optical and Telecommunications Technologies, as well as two Master's degrees in related fields from the Université de Limoges and Université Montpellier 2.
