Maxime Meynard is an experienced optical engineer and business angel specializing in private equity. Currently serving as an investor at Blast Club since February 2023, Maxime has been with Thales Alenia Space as an AIT Optical engineer since January 2014, following a tenure at Sophia Engineering where contributions included technical proposal writing for CarbonSat and optical performance testing for OLCI. Prior experience includes an engineering internship at EADS Astrium Space Transportation focused on adaptive optics, as well as engineering internships at SYRTE Observatoire de Paris and Laboratoire Physique des Plasmas centered on atomic interferometry gravimeters and plasma modeling, respectively. Maxime holds a Master's degree in Astronomical and Space-based Systems Engineering from Observatoire de Paris-Meudon & Université PARIS-Sud XI, and additional qualifications in Applied Physics and Mechanics, as well as a Bachelor of Physics and Application, all in the field of Space Engineering.
