Nicola Guercio

Nicola Guercio is a Satellite System Engineer at Thales Alenia Space, specializing in spacecraft attitude determination and control systems since September 2020. Previously, Nicola served as an AOCS - GNC Engineer at Thales, contributing to ESA and CNES projects and engaging in advanced control system design and in-orbit operations from February 2015 to September 2020. Nicola’s early career included a research fellowship at Politecnico di Torino, focused on spacecraft algorithms for debris removal and launcher ascent phases, and an internship at Astrium, where innovative methods for satellite parameter identification were developed. Nicola holds multiple degrees in Aerospace Engineering from prestigious institutions, including ISAE-SUPAERO and Politecnico di Torino.
