Nizar Syed

Nizar Syed is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in aerospace and software engineering. Currently serving as Deployment AIV/AIT Manager at Thales Alenia Space since October 2016, Nizar manages the technical baseline and execution of tasks for the Galileo KMF ground segment. Nizar also holds a consultant position at CGI since July 2015, where expertise is applied in GNSS security, safety engineering, and project management, including leading the GNSS Performance Monitor project. Prior roles include safety engineer at Inmarsat, operations controller at DLR and ESA/ESTEC, and project engineer at Bradford Engineering and Airbus Defence and Space. Nizar's educational background includes a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Astrodynamics & Satellite Systems and Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
