Olivier Autran has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business development in the aerospace industry. Olivier started their career at Alcatel telecomunicações Brasil in 1999, where they served as the Commercial, Marketing, and Business Development Manager for Alcatel Space activity. Olivier'sresponsibilities included developing the Brazilian market and supporting the French divisions in telecommunications, navigation, and observation. Olivier also managed major contracts, such as Intelig and DEPV, worth over 100M USD. Autran then joined Alcatel Alenia Space as the Security and Vertical Markets Business Development & Marketing Director from 2005 to 2007. In this role, they led the commercial and marketing strategy for the space activity. Since 2007, Autran has been working at Thales Alenia Space, where they have held various positions. As the Sales, Marketing & Business Development Director, they have been responsible for international business development, sales, and marketing solution management, maritime security & safety business development, security business development, and vertical markets marketing. Throughout their career, Autran has demonstrated expertise in developing new business, expanding markets, identifying opportunities, and coordinating activities within the industry.
Olivier Autran received their Bachelor of Science in Nuclear and Particles Physics from Aix-Marseille University between 1982 and 1985. Following this, from 1986 to 1987, they attended Télécom Paris and obtained their ENST Telecommunication Engineer degree, specializing in digital transmission and optical technologies.
