Philippe GARCON has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in the field of telecom satellites. Philippe started their career at Teuchos Exploitation in 1991 as an Ingénieur radiofréquence and worked there until 1995. Philippe then joined Teuchos PACA as a Telecom Satellites Payload Architect from 1995 to 1997. After that, they worked at Aerospatiale in the same role from 1997 to 1998. Philippe then joined Alcatel Alenia Space and continued in the role of Telecom Satellites Payload Architect from 1998 to 2004. From 2004 onwards, they joined Thales Alenia Space. Philippe held various roles at Thales Alenia Space, including Telecom Satellites System Engineer, Telecom Satellites Technical Manager, Satellites Propulsion Department Manager, Satellites Solar Arrays & Mechanisms Department Manager, Head of Telecom Satellites Architecture & Design Authority, and currently serves as the Head of Telecom Satellite System Engineering.
Philippe GARCON attended Grenoble INP - Phelma from 1986 to 1989 and obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur. From 1989 to 1990, they pursued their education at Télécom Paris, where they completed a Mastère in Optoélectronique et Hyperfréquences.
