Roberta Pilia

Roberta Pilia is a skilled Radiation Engineer currently working at Thales Alenia Space since May 2022. With a strong background in electronics and component engineering, Roberta previously held roles at EREMS as a Component & Radiation Engineer, Airbus as a Prime EEE part engineer, and CNES as a Components Engineer. Responsibilities included management of PCBs, approval of component selections, participation in project reviews, and evaluation of electronic components for space applications. Roberta's expertise extends to procurement support and knowledge of EEE technologies and standards, including ESCC and MIL EEE specifications. Roberta began the career with a traineeship at Intraspec Technologies, focusing on electronic device sensitivity to radiation. Educational qualifications include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Cagliari.
