Simone Magnani

Simone Magnani is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management and program leadership within the aerospace, automotive, and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Programmes and PMO at Thales Alenia Space since July 2022, Simone leads a team responsible for delivering space platforms and payload projects, while also implementing transformation programs to enhance project controls. Prior roles include Programme Manager at Reaction Engines, where responsibilities spanned a diverse portfolio of projects, and key positions at Bombardier Transportation, including Senior Program Manager for significant rolling stock projects. Additional experience includes roles at GE Oil&Gas and AgustaWestland, where Simone managed complex projects and maintained customer focus through effective team coordination and risk management. Simone holds a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an e-MBA in General Management from Finmeccanica - ASFOR Management.
