Sofia Chkih

Sofia Chkih is a skilled engineer with experience in propulsion systems and performance engineering. Currently a Propulsion Systems Engineer at Thales Alenia Space since March 2023, Sofia previously worked as a Simulation, Modelling and Performance Engineer at Eaton from October 2021 to February 2023. Earlier roles include positions at Cobham Mission Systems as an R&D Product Development Engineer Graduate and a Project Manager Graduate, along with experience in finance and test engineering. Sofia also served as a Venue Supervisor at EFB Leisure Limited, demonstrating strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively under pressure. Sofia holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with an Aerospace Stream from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton.
