Carlos Pravia

Carlos Pravia has extensive experience in account management and sales leadership within the technology and telecom sectors. Currently serving as Vice President Global Accounts at Thales since April 2019, Carlos previously held various roles at Gemalto from March 2004 to October 2019, including Global Account Manager and Sales Director for IBERIS, Israel, and Spain, focusing on key accounts in the Spanish banking sector. Earlier roles include Sales Manager at Gemalto, responsible for telecommunications accounts in Portugal, Spain, and Israel, as well as Marketing Manager at Actaris and Marketing & Products Project Manager at Schlumberger Industries. Carlos holds a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and has a solid educational background from James Watt College and Colegio Loyola.
