Chinmay Sahu

Chinmay Sahu, PhD, is a Computer Vision Research Scientist at Thales, specializing in biometric systems and deep learning research, with notable achievements including a top global ranking in iris recognition accuracy. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Clarkson University's CoSiNe Lab, where Chinmay developed algorithms for IoT and biomedical applications, and designed a machine learning pipeline for cybersecurity. Additional roles include a NYSERDA Fellow as a Research Data Scientist at Potsdam Sensors, where indoor air quality models were developed, and software design at Alstom, focusing on security management tools.
