Eric Debes has extensive experience in high-performance computing and avionics, currently serving as Chief Architect for High Performance Computing Avionics Platforms at Thales since October 2008. Debes oversees future computing platforms related to graphics, cybersecurity, sensor processing, and machine learning while also representing the Avionics Global Business Unit on the Thales Group R&T Board on Hardware Technologies. Previous roles include Research & Technology Manager for Computing Platforms and Navigation Sensors, Chief Computing Architect in the CTO Office, and Engineering Manager at Intel, where contributions ranged from architecture analysis to power/performance trade-offs in mobile platforms. Debes also holds teaching positions in signal processing and computing architecture at Supelec and has a PhD in Signal Processing from EPFL.
