Fawzi Mahmoud

Fawzi Mahmoud serves as the Director of Cloud Operations at Thales since April 2019, overseeing North America public and private clouds DevOps and SREs, while driving the transformation of private clouds into public cloud-like platforms with self-service offerings. Prior roles include Senior Datacenter IT Manager and Technical Lead at Gemalto, where Fawzi managed IT staff and infrastructure across multiple locations, and Systems Engineer II at CDW, focusing on managed services and significant projects involving cloud infrastructure. Fawzi holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from the Illinois Institute of Technology, expected in December 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Ahliya University, earned in 1999.
