Jonny Murphy

Jonny Murphy is an experienced professional in mechanical design, currently serving as a Mechanical Design Team Lead at Thales since August 2023. Prior to this role, Jonny held multiple positions at Sensata Technologies from May 2018 to September 2023, including Mechanical Design Team Leader and Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. Jonny began the career at Wrightbus as a Lead Design Engineer from July 2012 to May 2018. Earlier roles included a Design Engineer position at Michelin and a Stock Control Assistant at Tesco. Jonny's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Ulster University, as well as two Postgraduate Certificates in Agile Leadership & Management and Business Administration and Management from The Open University and Ulster University, respectively.
