Paul Watson

Paul Watson has extensive experience in contract management and commercial operations, currently serving as the Director of Contract Management for Thales Integrated Airspace and Protection Systems since January 2011. Previously, Paul held the position of Commercial Director at Thales UK, overseeing major bid and program commercial management across the Air Operations and Weapons Systems Business Line. Earlier career roles include Senior Commercial and Bid Finance Manager at Thales Defence and Management Consultant and Capability Team Leader at QinetiQ, where Paul led business solution modeling and numerous client initiatives. Paul holds a PhD in Cost Engineering from Queen's University Belfast and has completed leadership and program delivery programs at Henley Business School and Bristol Management Centre, respectively. Paul also possesses a First Class Honours degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
