Phil Hall

Phil Hall is a recognized domain expert in the safety assurance of safety-critical systems, software, firmware, and hardware, with a career spanning several decades. Starting in 1975, Phil completed a full apprenticeship in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and later earned a First Class honors degree in Computer and Management Science. Phil has held various significant roles, including UK Head of Product Safety Assurance at Thales and Independent Verification, Validation & Safety Manager at BAE Systems, providing leadership in high integrity and safety-critical systems since 1998. As a Chartered Engineer, Phil's experience encompasses the entire lifecycle of safety-critical systems, from concept to disposal, including compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
