Sven Östlund

Sven Östlund currently serves as the Head of Service Center Switzerland at Thales Training & Simulation, a position held since October 2025. Sven possesses extensive experience with the Swedish Armed Forces since June 1999, where an engineering role has been maintained across various units including Norrland Engineer Corps and Swedish Armed Forces International Operations. Prior to Thales, Sven was the Market Lead for Switzerland and Western Austria at Tietoevry, contributing to technology advancements. Previous roles include Account Director at ISS Schweiz AG, Head of Vertical Markets at Siemens focusing on building technologies, and consultant positions at ThyssenKrupp and EFG European Furniture Group AB. Sven's education includes multiple master's degrees in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, and Systemic Leadership, with ongoing studies in Strategic IT and Technology Management at ZHAW School of Management and Law.
