Dr. Maria Gandorfer

Dr. Maria Gandorfer is a Senior Data Scientist at thaltegos, part of the Plan.Net Group, since August 2021. Prior experience includes serving as Projektleiterin at Technische Universität München from January 2016 to March 2021, where responsibilities included leading the HiOS project, managing a team of nine and overseeing a budget of €1.8 million, as well as conducting hydrodynamic modeling for flood protection strategies during the AdaptRisk project. Dr. Gandorfer holds a Doktor-Ingenieur degree from Technical University of Munich and various degrees in Environmental Engineering from institutions including Università degli Studi di Padova, University of Alaska Fairbanks, INSA Lyon, and Technical University of Munich.
