Jon Toohey

Jon Toohey is currently a Trustee at Thames Hospice. Prior to that, they were with Travelport for 7 years, where they were Group Vice President - Finance. Jon was brought in as part of the new finance leadership team that Blackstone tasked to take the company to a listing. Initially they led the Global Commercial Finance team (2 years) followed by Global Finance Operations (3.5 years) and leading its transformation. Then they moved to Technology to head Global Business Systems (1.5 years) and lead its transformation, followed by a 6 month assignment to mobilise the US based Technology Transformation Management office (TMO). Before Travelport, they were CFO Europe, Middle East & Africa with Westcon.

Jon Toohey has a degree in B.Com from the University of the Witwatersrand. Jon also has a degree in Chartered Director from the Institute of Directors (IoD). Jon is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Jon is also a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and the South African Institute of Directors (SAID).
