Ben Chivers

Head, South East Regional Organized Crime Unit at Thames Valley Police

Ben Chivers has spent their career in law enforcement, working their way up the ranks to their current position as Head of the South East Regional Organized Crime Unit at Thames Valley Police. Ben began their career with Hampshire Constabulary in 2006, and over the next 14 years they held a variety of positions, culminating in their role as CID West & IOW DCI, leading teams of over 250 people to complete volume, serious and complex crime investigations. In this role, they also served as one of the Force's Senior Investigating Officers for Homicide and Kidnap offences.

Ben Chivers has a Master's degree in Police Executive Programme - Applied Criminology and Police Leadership from the University of Cambridge. Ben also has a Diploma in Computing in Computer Software Engineering from The Open University. Ben has also studied Sports Science at Eastleigh College and The Mountbatten School in Romsey.

They work with Marion Peulevé - Head, Information Management, Emma Burroughs - LPA Commander, Wycombe, and Craig Kirby - Head, Criminal Justice. Their manager is John Campbell, Chief Constable.
