Dan Rees

Dan Rees is a Technical & Regulatory Manager at Thames Water, with experience in regulatory representation at DEFRA workshops and participation in the CIWEM SuDS Policy Leadership Group. Throughout a career spanning over a decade, Dan has held various engineering roles, including Project Engineer at both Thames Water and Dwr Cymru Welsh Water, where responsibilities included designing and vetting sewerage proposals and overseeing new sewer connections. Previous positions also include a temporary role as Technical Manager, where Dan managed high-level technical matters, and earlier, a diverse background in railway work that laid the foundation for a career in civil engineering. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and has obtained numerous certifications, including PRINCE2.
