Mark Cooper has over three decades of experience in project management and engineering across various industries, particularly in utilities and telecommunications. Currently serving as the Head of Smart Metering at Thames Water since January 2008, Mark has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Programme Manager for Metering IS and Data Systems, Senior Contract Manager, and Project Manager. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Project Manager at Virgin Media and a tenure as Telco Support Engineer at ntl. Mark began his career as a Project Design Technician at Thames Water and held roles in the Drawing Office at BT. Mark completed education at Parmiters School from 1980 to 1985.
