Tebogo Matsimela

Tebogo Matsimela is an experienced professional in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management, currently serving as the Head of Environmental Social and Governance at Tharisa since October 2021. In this role, Tebogo defines and implements sustainability strategies to position the Group as an ESG leader in the industry. Previous experience includes serving as an ESG Associate at the Public Investment Corporation, managing a portfolio of investments, and holding the position of Environmental Officer at the Department of Water and Sanitation. Tebogo's academic credentials include an MBA in Business Administration and Management with a focus on sustainability from Rhodes University, along with various advanced qualifications in environmental management, law, and impact investing.
