Neal Ramee received an undergraduate degree in philosophy from the University of Virginia and a law degree from the University of North Carolina School of Law, where they were inducted into the Order of the Coif. Ramee served as Managing Editor of the First Amendment Law Review and was an Honors Writing Scholar while in law school. They clerked for Justice Mark Martin at the North Carolina Supreme Court before becoming a partner at Tharrington Smith, LLP in 2005, where their practice focuses exclusively on education law. Ramee has also taught as an adjunct professor and held various leadership roles in legal associations, contributing extensively to topics related to education law and constitutional issues.
