Tharros Place
Kate Templeton Edwards, MPH, is an experienced outreach coordinator currently working at Tharros Place since August 2022. Previously, Kate completed a public health internship at Live Forward, where tasks included organizing testing and educational events, analyzing HIV testing data, and enhancing rural outreach for health programs. Additional experience includes serving as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Georgia, volunteering at Piedmont Athens Regional, and interning with Unified Healthcare for the Rural Underserved, where social media marketing and health-related material design were key responsibilities. Kate holds a Master of Public Health degree in Health Promotions and Behavior and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Georgia. Further academic experience includes international studies at Universidad de Cádiz and a foundational education at Savannah Country Day School.
