Mary Marfell

Mary Marfell is an experienced Analytics Engineer and Lead Research Engineer at Thatcham Research since August 2021, with a robust background in noise and vibration of powertrain mounting systems spanning over 20 years. Prior roles include System Analyst at DTR Automotive Corporation and CAE Engineer at DTR VMS Ltd., where Mary contributed as a dynamics expert and was involved in initiatives for the electric vehicle market. Earlier experience encompasses product design and development for powertrain mounts at Avon Automotive Vibration Management Systems, as well as designing and testing bespoke rubber components at Avon Technical Products. Mary holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Loughborough University.
