William Dong

William Dong has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and roles. In 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist at Neeka Health, where they built dashboards and performed statistical analysis to improve patient care processes and hospital economics. William also had a Summer Associate position at Deloitte Consulting, where they worked on topic modeling analysis using NLP for document retrieval.

In 2021, William joined Wingman AI Agents Ltd as an AI Solutions Architect, where they developed a patent for efficiently processing high-resolution images for training computer vision models. William also explored the use of ultra-large language models in human-AI teaming and various business applications. Additionally, they co-founded Wingman Defense, a US company.

Currently, William is employed at ThayerMahan Inc. as the Head of Artificial Intelligence, Acoustics. In this role, they are responsible for building the next generation of AI-enhanced systems for global ocean transparency. William leads the architecture of AI systems, project management, development, and team growth.
