Roeland Smeets

Roeland Smeets is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various roles across multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Treasurer and board member of THC Hurley since November 2023, Roeland previously held the position of Finance Director at Warburg Pincus LLC from February 2019 to January 2025, where responsibilities included the development of the European investment platform and management of a local team. Roeland also served as Managing Director at Warburg Pincus B.V. and Project Manager for Corporate Finance at Stage Entertainment, overseeing significant finance projects, including IPO preparations. Additional experience includes a role as Director in the Transaction Advisory Group at Alvarez & Marsal and Senior Manager at Deloitte, focused on M&A transaction advisory services and corporate audit, respectively. Roeland's foundational education includes a Master’s degree in Fiscal Economics and a Postgraduate degree as a Registered Accountant from Maastricht University, along with a Master’s in Business Economics.
