Sereena Henderson

Sereena Henderson is an experienced professional in membership management and communications, currently serving as the Membership Manager at The 19th since June 2020, where Sereena leads strategies to grow and engage a member community. Prior to this role, Sereena worked at Mississippi Today as Community Manager and Social Media Manager, creating and managing social media content across multiple platforms. Sereena's earlier experience includes a Public Relations Internship at The University of Mississippi, where strategies for social media and public relations were developed, as well as extensive involvement in broadcasting as a Correspondent/Anchor for NewsWatch Ole Miss. Additionally, Sereena interned at WLOX-TV, gaining hands-on experience in multimedia journalism. Sereena holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Mississippi, completed in 2016.
