Leyla Kara

Leyla Kara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of diagnostics, entrepreneurship, and project management. Currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of SpectraCann, Leyla is focused on revolutionizing the screening and diagnostics domain through innovative real-time analysis of biomarkers in exhaled breath. Leyla also contributes as a Business Mentor for Futurpreneur, supporting young Canadian entrepreneurs, and holds various board and membership roles, including with Nia Health and The51. Previously, Leyla had significant roles at the US National Institutes of Health's RADx initiative, OraSure Technologies, and Worley, among others. Leyla's academic credentials include a Micro Master Degree in Supply Chain Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Tehran.
