Graeme Bunker-James is the commercial director at THE A1 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE TRUST. Graeme has over 25 years of experience in the railway industry, working in marketing, sales, and management positions.
Bunker-James started their career in the railway industry in 1992, working as a marketing assistant for British Rail. Graeme then moved into sales, becoming a regional sales manager for Virgin Trains in 2001. In 2006, they became the commercial manager for Arriva Trains Wales, and then in 2010 they took on the role of marketing and commercial director for Kirklees Light Railway.
Bunker-James joined THE A1 STEAM LOCOMOTIVE TRUST in 2012, and has been instrumental in the success of the Trust's fundraising campaigns and restoration projects. Graeme has also worked closely with the National Railway Museum on a number of projects, including the development of an educational programme about the history of the A1 locomotive.
Graeme Bunker-James has a BA in Graeme'story from the University of Chester and a second degree from Old Swinford Hospital.
