Alan Tyndall

Alan Tyndall has a diverse work experience in the technology field. Alan is currently working as a Lead IT Developer at The AA since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Grass Valley from 2014 to 2021, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer, Software Engineer, and Sustaining Engineer. At Grass Valley, they were involved in designing a next-generation Kubernetes platform, implementing new technology for large customers, and maintaining a C++ enterprise suite for non-linear video editing. Before joining Grass Valley, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Xyratex from 2013 to 2014, where they developed software for hard drive testing machines using various languages. Alan also has experience as a Software Developer at 3M from 2010 to 2013, where they maintained SDK products and collaborated with multiple teams on large projects. Additionally, Alan has experience as a Developer at the University of Nottingham in 2009, where they worked on improving a software package for deployment. Alan began their career as a Junior Electrical Engineer at Time and Precision Engineering from 2003 to 2005.

Alan Tyndall attended the University of Nottingham from 2007 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
