Head Of Group Health, Safety And Environment at The AA

Hannah Smith has diverse work experience in the field of health, safety, and risk management. Hannah is currently serving as the Head of Group Health, Safety, and Environment at The AA since September 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Gama Aviation from 2008 to 2020, including Global Director of Risk Management and Assurance, Head of Risk Management and Assurance, and SMS Manager. Hannah also has experience in professional committees, such as IOSH Aerospace and Aviation Committee, where they served as a member from 2017 to 2020, and as the Chairperson for the IOSH Aviation and Aerospace Group from 2017 to 2020. Additionally, they were involved in IS-BAH Committee at IBAC from 2018 to 2020 and served as a member of the EBAA Safety Committee at the European Business Aviation Association from 2017 to 2020.

- In 2019, Hannah completed a course called "Introduction to OSHA and OSHA Act" at 360 training.

- In 2017, Hannah achieved a Lead Auditor - ISO14001:2015 certification from LRQA.

- Similarly, Hannah earned a Lead auditor- OHSAS18001 certification from LRQA in 2017.

- In 2016, Hannah completed a Foundation and Practitioner program in Managing Successful Programmes at AXELOS.

- Hannah also obtained a Foundation and Practitioner qualification in Management of Risk from AXELOS in 2015.

- Hannah holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH, which was obtained from 2007 to 2010.
