Dr. Sameh Elmorsy Hassan, MD, PhD, is an accomplished neurosurgeon and academic with extensive experience in various leadership roles within prestigious medical organizations. Currently, Dr. Hassan serves as an Executive Board Member of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumors and as President of the World Federation of Spine Endoscopy, the largest federation of spine endoscopic associations. Additionally, Dr. Hassan holds the position of Co-Chairman of the WFNS Neurooncology Committee and serves as a consultant neurosurgeon at Wadi El Neel For Medical Services. An editor for both the Journal of Neuroscience and Neurological Surgery and the ASEN Journal, Dr. Hassan's educational background includes an MD in Neurological Surgery and a Master’s degree in Neurosurgery, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery.
