Joel Tozer

Joel Tozer is an experienced television producer and journalist with a strong background in current affairs and investigative reporting. Currently serving as the Executive Producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's nightly prime time program, 7.30, since July 2022, Tozer previously held notable roles including Producer for Nine's 60 Minutes and Producer for SBS Australia's Dateline. Additional experience includes working as a Researcher for the ABC's Four Corners and producing for SBS Australia's The Feed. Tozer began a career in journalism at The Global Mail, where impactful reporting on aged care abuse garnered recognition at the Walkley Awards. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Communication in Journalism from the University of Technology Sydney and a Diploma in Foreign Reporting from the University of Helsinki.
