Rachel Clayton

Rachel Clayton is an experienced journalist with a diverse portfolio in both print and digital media. Currently serving as a Business Journalist and Multiplatform Journalist at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since September 2019, Rachel previously worked at Herald Sun from January 2018 to September 2019, focusing on local community issues in Melbourne. Prior to that, Rachel was a New Zealand Retail and Industrial Relations Journalist for Stuff.co.nz and a cadet at Stuff from January 2016 to January 2018. An internship at Australian Associated Press (AAP) and a journalist internship at Crikey in 2014 further enhanced Rachel's skills. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Melbourne, completed in 2015.
