Maureen E. Schafer

Maureen E. Schafer serves as the Chief Executive Officer for OnKai Health Foundation, focusing on eradicating healthcare disparities in underserved communities. Additionally, Maureen holds positions as an Advisory Board Member at X2L Bio, a Member of the Board of Directors at Blueprint Sports, and an Independent Objective Grant Reviewer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Maureen's leadership extends to The Able Channel as a board member and to Schafer Company, LLC as President, providing strategic advisory services across various sectors. Previously, Maureen served as Executive Director of the Council for a Better Nevada, President and CEO of the Nevada Health & Bioscience Corporation, Director of Special Projects at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, and Chief of Staff at UNLV School of Medicine.
