Kate Yanish

Kate Yanish is an accomplished art educator and freelance graphic designer with extensive experience in creative direction and art curation. Since June 2018, Kate has served as Art Teacher and Art Department Head at the Academies of Math and Science, where engaging lessons are crafted for students aged 5-15. Prior freelance work includes projects ranging from graphic design for a published book to branding for various companies. Previous roles include serving as Gallery Assistant at A-side B-side Gallery, preparing exhibitions for artist Katherine Aoki, and assisting at Santa Clara University’s art facilities. Kate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Studio Art from Santa Clara University, where involvement as a Division 1 student-athlete further enhanced leadership and teamwork skills.
