Huy Nguyen has a diverse work experience in IT systems and operations. Huy started their career at CGI-AMS as a Consultant in 1999 and worked until 2003. Huy then joined the Center for Applied Linguistics as the Director of IT & Operations, where they supervised and guided teams while serving as a technical expert in various areas such as database development, network infrastructure, and software/hardware purchases. During their time at the Center for Applied Linguistics, Huy also implemented daily and full backups using Symantec Backup Exec and Acronis for offsite storage, as well as setting up and deploying Office 365 for the organization. In 2017, they took on the role of Vice President of IT Systems at The Health Management Academy.
Huy Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science and Information Technology from Virginia Tech. Additionally, they have obtained a certification from Microsoft in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 IT Professional.
