Jasmaine McClain, PhD

Jasmaine McClain, PhD, has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. From 2021 to present, they have served as the Executive Director of the Health Equity Alliance at The Health Management Academy. Prior to this role, they were a Principal at the same organization, specializing in health equity, from 2019 to 2021.

Before joining The Health Management Academy, Jasmaine worked at Avalere Health as a Senior Manager from 2018 to 2021. Their responsibilities included providing strategic guidance in healthcare.

From 2015 to 2018, Jasmaine worked at The Advisory Board Company as a Strategy Consultant. Jasmaine McClain, PhD has an extensive education history. Jasmaine began their academic journey in 2006 at The University of Georgia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biology, General. During their undergraduate studies, they also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish Language and Literature from the same institution, completing both degrees in 2010.

Following their undergraduate education, Jasmaine continued their studies at Stanford University School of Medicine. From 2010 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medicine. Building upon their master's degree, they then embarked on their doctoral studies in Cancer Biology, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in 2015.
