Kevin Harris

Kevin Harris has a range of work experience in the IT field. Kevin started their career as an IT Helpdesk Technician at The Health Management Academy in April 2014 and later transitioned to the role of IT Systems Administrator in January 2015. In March 2018, they were promoted to Senior IT Specialist and most recently, in April 2022, they became an IT Manager at the same company.

Before joining The Health Management Academy, Kevin worked at EDMC starting in November 2008 as an IT Work Study Assistant. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining equipment, training faculty on classroom technology, assisting with campus renovations, and managing AV setup throughout the campus. In August 2009, they were promoted to Sr. IT Desktop Analyst. Their responsibilities included establishing policies and procedures for customer service, strategic planning, and serving as a liaison with service contractors and vendors.

Overall, Kevin has gained a range of experience in IT support, administration, and management throughout their career.

Kevin Harris earned a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree in Information Systems & Technology from South University, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Audio Production from The Art Institutes, from 2007 to 2010. Kevin also holds additional certifications, including IT Fundamentals from CompTIA obtained in March 2017, and HDI Desktop Support Technician from HDI obtained in October 2010.
