Matthew Berman is a seasoned professional in healthcare management with extensive experience in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and research advocacy. Currently serving as the Director of Healthcare Programs at The Health Management Academy since March 2022, Matthew has previously held positions as a Management Analyst at Aveshka, Inc., where support was provided to the HHS Office of External Affairs, and as a Research and Writing Associate at Citizens for Alternatives to Animal Research and Experimentation. Matthew's background includes program coordination at the Reagan-Udall Foundation for the FDA, patient navigation at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, and various roles in healthcare customer service and administrative support. Matthew holds a Master's degree in Public Health from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo.
