Kevin Zuhoski

Kevin Zuhoski is an experienced educator and healthcare professional with a diverse background in teaching and nursing. Currently serving as a Computer Science Teacher at The Academy Charter School, Kevin develops and delivers lessons in programming and computer science while also working as a Registered Nurse with the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, performing COVID-19 tests and monitoring safety protocols. Additionally, Kevin has freelance experience as a Japanese to English translator for Amazon and has worked as a substitute teacher across various school districts, focusing on content delivery for bilingual and ENL students. Previous roles include a Full Stack Java Developer at Per Scholas and an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japan Exchange and Teaching Program. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Stony Brook University.
