Sam Swope

Sam Swope is the Founder and President of The Academy for Teachers, a role held since 2012, and serves as the Dean of the Cullman Center Institute for Teachers, a position maintained since February 2004. At the Cullman Center, Sam Swope creates seminars for social studies and English teachers featuring Fellows of the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers. Additionally, Sam Swope has been a faculty member at Middlebury College's Bread Loaf School of English since June 2010. Sam Swope holds an M.A. in English from the University of Oxford and a B.A. in English from Middlebury College.
