Laura P White, LCSW has a diverse work experience spanning over several fields. Laura P started their career at Magpie Marketing as the Owner/Manager, where they handled corporate sales, managed the showroom, and coordinated trade shows. Laura P then transitioned to working as a Certified Feng Shui Consultant at White Interiors, helping individuals and families optimize their living and work spaces for harmony and balance. After that, Laura worked as the Educational Director at Harmony Life Partners, overseeing daily operations at a non-profit preschool/daycare facility and establishing a scholarship program.

Laura then shifted their focus to social work, starting as an Oncology Social Work Intern at Morristown Memorial Medical Center, Carol G Simon Cancer Center. Here, they provided psychotherapeutic and psycho-educational support to breast cancer patients and assessed their financial and logistical needs. Laura P continued their social work journey at Lillian Booth Actors Home, first as a Geriatric Social Work Intern, managing a caseload of Assisted Living residents and facilitating support groups. Laura P later took on the role of Social Worker, managing the clinical caseload of Assisted Living residents and pioneering the use of TimeSlips Dementia Intervention to enhance the psycho-social environment for individuals with dementia.

Currently, Laura is working at The Actors Fund as the Director of Admissions and Social Worker, supervising all admissions for the newly expanded Actors Fund Home and overseeing short-stay rehabilitation services. Laura P also previously served as the Admissions Coordinator and Social Worker at The Lillian Booth Actors Home, coordinating all admissions and managing a caseload of Assisted Living residents. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing support and care to individuals in various settings.

Laura P White, LCSW has a well-rounded education history that spans over several years. Starting from 1976 to 1980, they attended Upsala College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Theatre Arts/Music.

After a significant gap, Laura returned to education in 2005 and completed their studies in 2006 at Montclair State University. Here, they obtained an NJ P-3 Certification, specializing in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.

Laura's pursuit of knowledge didn't stop there. In 2011, they enrolled at Rutgers University, where they earned a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Social Work by 2014. Armed with these qualifications, Laura P White went on to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), ready to make a positive impact in the field.
