Ian Rinehart

Ian Rinehart is a Principal at The Ad Hoc Group where he manages the firm's client work and relationships. Ian is an entrepreneur, product manager, and client manager with a history of building products and partnerships that bring about positive social and environmental change.

As the Co-Founder of Conserve With Us, Ian participated in the Techstars Sustainability Accelerator and was selected as a Halcyon Fellow for Social Entrepreneurship.

Before starting his own company, Ian worked at Opower where he oversaw the delivery of behavioral energy efficiency products to enterprise utility clients and over 5 million of their customers.

Ian is a Fulbright Scholar and spent a year researching renewable energy deployment in Germany. He's also a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute in Washington, DC. Ian earned his B.A. in International Relations and German from Northwestern University. He lives in Washington, D.C.
