Ian Simmonds

Ian Simmonds has an extensive work experience in the travel industry. Ian is currently working as the Interim CFO at The Advantage Travel Partnership. Prior to that, they were a Non Executive Director at PetsPyjamas. From 2019 to 2022, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at Mercury Holidays. Before that, they held the position of Non Executive Director at Sunspot Tours and Planet Travel Holidays. Ian's earlier roles include being the Managing Director, Managing Director Commercial, and Finance Director at Travel Republic. Ian also served as the Finance Director at THOMSON AIRWAYS LIMITED and Island Cruises part of TUI Travel PLC.

Ian Simmonds has an ACA degree from ICAEW. Prior to that, they attended Swansea University where they obtained a BscEcon Hons 2:1 degree in Economics and Politics.
