Sonia Michaels has worked in various roles throughout their career. Sonia started as an Office Manager at Hotel Options Ltd from 2003 to 2006. Sonia then moved on to Thomsonfly, where they worked as an Assistant Crew Controller from September 2006 to April 2007. After that, they worked as a Sales Executive at Silverjet from May 2007 to June 2008.

In 2008, they joined The Advantage Travel Partnership as a Business Development Executive. Sonia later took on the role of Corporate Relationship Manager from June 2010 to September 2014. Sonia then became the Head of Business Travel at the company from October 2014 to May 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Business Travel Services and Events at The Advantage Travel Partnership.

Throughout their career, Sonia has built and managed strong relationships with members, trade partners, and colleagues within the travel industry.

Sonia Michaels completed a BA Hon degree in Business Tourism Management from the University of Hertfordshire from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced GNVQ in Leisure & Tourism from Oaklands College, St Albans from 1999 to 2001.
