Afghan Legal Clinic Program Coordinator at The Advocates for Human Rights

Katherine Story is an experienced legal and community coordinator with a focus on immigrant and refugee support. Currently serving as the Afghan Legal Clinic Program Coordinator at The Advocates for Human Rights since January 2022, Katherine has previously held the position of Senior Legal Assistant at the Capital Area Immigrants' Rights (CAIR) Coalition from June 2018 to January 2022. Prior to this, Katherine worked at Washington University in St. Louis as an Event Assistant, where responsibilities included coordinating event logistics for various groups. Katherine's involvement with the refugee community includes an internship with The Spero Project, assisting with the transition of international refugees to the United States. Serving as Secretary for the St. Louis Story Stitchers Artist's Collective from October 2014 to August 2017, Katherine contributed to organizational management and communications. Katherine holds a degree in Latin American Studies and International Development from Washington University in St. Louis.
