David Shultz

David "Dutch" Shultz is a seasoned aerospace professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation since June 2022, Shultz brings previous experience as a liaison to Space Forces at the Air Force Research Laboratory from January 2020 to June 2022, and as Chief Engineer at USAF SMC from July 2016 to January 2020. Academic achievements include a PhD in Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Space Systems, Human Resources Management, and Geology. Shultz's research interests encompass architecture development, space situational awareness, small satellite mission development, and modeling and simulation, reflecting a strong commitment to advancing aerospace capabilities.
